July 7 – 8
Southern Amateur (Divisional)
Type: 36-hole stroke play championship with a max field size of 84 players
What to know:
- Players can walk or ride in carts; cart fees are covered in the tournament entry fee.
- No spectator carts are permitted.
- Tee times on both days: 7 a.m. to 8:57 a.m.

July 9
Arizona Open Qualifier #1
The 74th Arizona Open is holding its first qualifier at McCormick Ranch.
Type: 18-hole individual stroke play event with 35 successful qualifiers advancing to the championship
What to know:
- Ties lead to a hole-by-hole playoff to determine the winner.
- The projected purse for the championship is approximately $100,000.

U.S. Amateur Qualifier
The 2018 USGA Amateur Qualifier is open to competitors with a Handicap Index® of 2.4 or lower.
What to know:
- All players must walk at all times.
- The USGA’s One-Ball Rule is in effect.
- Distance measuring devices are only allowed during the qualifier.

Arizona Open Qualifier #2

What to know:
- Number of qualifiers is to be determined.
- In the event of a tie, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff.
- There are an estimated 100 open spots available for the championship through the five Arizona Open qualifying events.

Southwest PGA Match Play Championship
What to know:
- The field is limited to 64 players.
- There is no qualifying round for the 2018 Southwest PGA Match Play Championship.
- Projected seeding for 1 – 30 is based off last year’s final Player of the Year standings.
