Troon’s higher elevation (2500 feet above sea level) also lends itself to cooler temperatures, so outdoor activities like hiking and golf can be truly enjoyed year-round.

Troon has hosted a number of popular golf tournaments over the years including the United States Mid-Amateur Championship, the Arizona Open and the Merrill Lynch Shoot Out.
Routinely ranked as one of the best golf courses in Arizona, Troon’s green is designed to match the skill-level of every golfer. With access to five separate tee markers, the course’s length ranges from 5,167-7,041 yards.
Highlights of this member-owned club include a fitness facility, swimming pool, tennis court complex and two dining areas (formal and informal). The golf course at Troon is also well-respected by the community because it was developed in an environmentally-conscientious way.
