Pinnacle Peak Country Club
Located just west of Pima Road on the south side of Pinnacle Peak Rd, this master-planned community is named after the nearby Pinnacle Peak, a granite summit that rises 3,170 foot in elevation. Alongside native Sonoran Desert landscaping, you will find lusher olive, pine, palm and eucalyptus trees interspersed throughout the neighborhood, giving the area the feel of a “desert oasis”.
The first homes in Pinnacle Peak Country Club were constructed in 1977, and the neighborhood consists of mainly custom builds that sit on either half or 1-acre lots. Many properties back onto the golf course and have McDowell Mountain views.
In 2021, home sales in Pinnacle Peak Country Club ranged from $878,000 to $1,995,000. The average sales price was $1,361,000.
Founded in 1976 by Jerry Nelson, Pinnacle Peak Country Club was the first private golf facility in North Scottsdale, and sold out in 5 years. At the time of it’s development, the roads to the facility, including Pima Rd and Pinnacle Peak Rd, had to be developed.
The course was designed by Dick Turner and offers a spectacular 18 hole traditional-style course that showcases pristine emerald greens, lush tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, lakes, landscaped rock falls, and a lighted water fountain.
