If you’re like most people buying a home for sale in Scottsdale, you want to know where all the hotspots are – even if you’ve already lived in the city for a while. Fortunately, we’ve put together a list of the six best breakfast restaurants in Scottdale by personally visiting each one we could find. This list isn’t in any particular order; it’s simply a compilation of the best breakfast spots in the city.
6 Best Breakfast Restaurants in Scottsdale
Whether you love a good chorizo breakfast burrito or you prefer scrambled eggs and ham, you’ll find your favorite restaurant among these six (and the “honorable mentions” at the end).
1. Butters Pancakes & Café
Butters Pancakes & Café
8300 North Hayden Road
Breakfast, cooked from scratch. With a huge variety of pancakes (our favorites are the Oreo Cookie S’mores Cakes and Swedish Cakes), lots of French toast, waffles, eggs and omelettes, Butters Pancakes & Café is definitely one of the best places when you’re up-and-at-‘em early. Check out their specialties, like Eggs Verde and Southwestern Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, too.
2. Snooze: An A.M. Eatery
Snooze: An A.M. Eatery
15054 North Scottsdale Road
This charmingly vibrant retro chain restaurant doesn’t feel like a chain at all. It’s known for its creative breakfast menu and the fact that guests are allowed to create custom dishes of their own. Check out the Snooze Spuds Deluxe, Shrimp & Grits combo, and Juan’s Breakfast Tacos.
3. Breakfast Club
4400 North Scottsdale Road
The Breakfast Club is a great place to hand-pick your own ingredients and custom-build your own breakfast dish. Try the Breakfast Grilled Cheese (it’s packed with hash browns, eggs, bacon, fontina and cheddar cheese), “Cali” Bene and the Whole Hog Omelet – those are some of our favorites.
4. Perk Eatery
6501 East Greenway Parkway
Open only for breakfast and lunch (from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily), Perk Eatery has some of the best breakfast in the city. This cozy restaurant’s most delectable dishes include The Outlaw Scramble, Country Bacon Benny, Lemon Curd & Honey Whipped Ricotta French Toast, and Breakfast Enchiladas.
5. Hash Kitchen – Gainey Ranch
8777 North Scottsdale Road
In addition to having Arizona’s largest Bloody Mary bar, the Hash Kitchen offers a huge selection of deliciously tempting breakfast foods. Try the Flat Iron Steak and Eggs, the Monti Cristo (it’s a fried ham and cheese sandwich on brioche French toast), and the Chilaquiles.
6. U.S. Egg Breakfast and Lunch
U.S. Egg Breakfast and Lunch
3238 North Scottsdale Road
Tucked in Old Town Scottsdale, U.S. Egg is a local, family owned and operated restaurant that’s been thriving since 1986. They’re open from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and known for their “Idaho Hot Skillets,” including the Chicken, Avocado, Bacon and Tomato Skillet, the Triple Play Combo (two whole wheat pancakes, two eggs and your choice of meat), and the Stars & Stripes Waffle, which is a blend of blueberries, strawberry sauce and whipped cream.
Scottsdale is packed with great breakfast restaurants, and these definitely make the cut as honorable mentions:
