Top names in women’s golf head to Phoenix for LPGA Tour
The best and brightest in women’s golf are getting ready to tee off in the Valley. The Ladies Professional Golf Association is hosting its sixth annual JTBC Founders Cup at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix. The premier tournament for women’s golf kicks off March 15 with player practice rounds. Women’s golf takes center stage in Scottsdale with the new LPGA office
The Ladies Professional Golf Association is further confirming Scottsdale’s golf mecca status by opening up an office here in town. The objective of the new local digs is to run the JTBC Founders Cup, as well as to promote women in the sport from a central golf location.
