The Kierland Golf Club is bringing back crowd favorite Friday Night Lights throughout March. The Westin Kierland Resort’s FUN team (also responsible for summer activities and Kierland Camp) is partnering up with the golf club to create a golfing adventure fit for all ages.
The activities offered at Friday Night Lights are made to be fun for everyone and a great way for golfers and non-golfers to enjoy the sport together. Challenge each other on the nine-hole glow in the dark putt course or at the driving range, or participate in the long drive and “guess your distance” contests.
For those more serious about the game, putting and chipping clinics are offered and led by golf pros. For those who are more geared toward a drink than a driving range, there’s Margarita putting – putt a lime to win a margarita!
While kids will have fun playing SNAG golf, adults will especially enjoy the beverage cart service right on the driving range – definitely a different kind of happy hour! Speaking of which, after golfing you can head into the resort’s lobby or the Dreamweaver’s Canyon patio to enjoy a craft cocktail around the fire pit.
Friday Night Lights festivities kick off at 5 pm and wrap up at 7 pm. The program starts March 4 and continues every Friday evening through March 25. The resort may also continue the fun through April, with more dates to be announced later. Children under six are free with adults, and all other tickets to the event are $10 per person.
