“Wake up to Snooze” at the newest eatery in Scottsdale at Kierland Commons

A leisurely weekend brunch with good company is hard to beat, especially as temperatures cool down and al fresco dining becomes even more appealing. If you live in a north Scottsdale golf home or are around the Kierland-area, you now have one more place to grab a great the most important meal of the day: Snooze, an A.M. Eatery just opened up at the Kierland Commons.
The Denver-based restaurant chain specializes in breakfast and brunch and has already proved to be successful at its central Phoenix, Tempe and Gilbert locations. They serve “creative twists on America’s favorite breakfast classics in a casual, friendly and vibrant atmosphere.” The loyal followers – and there are many – are referred to as Snoozers.
The Snooze style is part retro, part futuristic, and all about comfort. The new Kierland location opened on August 26 in the popular Kierland Commons mall facing Scottsdale Road. An indoor dining room, expansive patio and industrial garage doors combining the two spaces is a key characteristic of Snooze locations.
The Snooze menu runs the gamut from traditional and home-style comfort foods like a breakfast pot pie, to local southwestern favorites including breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros. Their eggs benedict offerings are plentiful, and they even offer a half-and-half option to try two at the same time. Of course there are sandwich and salad options for those who like to pass on breakfast, and options for dietary or calorie restrictions.
And if you prefer your brunch with a cocktail, they have more than a few options. You could opt for a standard mimosa with house sparkling wine on tap, or try a Mayan Mocha blended with chili infused tequila and cinnamon. Cheers!
Aside from the fantastic food, one thing that sets Snooze apart from other chain restaurants is its commitment to community. One percent of sales from each Snooze restaurant goes back into the local community through donations of goods and services. In fact, the two-day grand opening at Kierland Commons benefited the McDowell Mountain Conservancy and Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation.
Snooze also sources many ingredients from local purveyors and small businesses, like Cartel Coffee Lab, Cotton Country Jam and Hickman Farms. Their original Denver-location shines through with Colorado-based products, too from Infinite Monkey Theorem Sparkling Wine and Polidori Sausage.
If you live in Kierland area Scottsdale golf homes or need a refuel as you run errands around other parts of the Valley, definitely stop in at Snooze. They’re open 6:30 am to 2:30 pm daily.
