Beat the heat on courses on the outskirts of town, which are located at a higher elevation and can be up to 10 degrees cooler than in center of the city. Troon North Golf Club is a great example of an elevated golf course, and through September 10th, you can purchase a Summer Sizzler package including five rounds of golf, a hat and two for one specials at the on-site Dynamite Grille. With Troon’s dynamic pricing, the fees will stay lower until the demand is higher, so you can likely take advantage of lower rates well into October.
At the Westin Kierland, golf rates are currently about one-third of what they will jump to this fall. Plus, you can get out of the heat faster with fun new equipment like the GolfBoard and golf bikes. Also, since Kierland is a full-service resort, you can make a staycation out of it, too. The resort offers a variety of room packages including resort credit and discounts at the pro shop.

After your game, stop by the largest public practice facility in the Valley or grab some grub at the Wildhorse Grille Restaurant.
If you like your golf game followed up with a tasty meal, it’s not too late to take advantage of the Grayhawk Golf Club Penguin Promo. Although this ends on September 3 and you’ll have to act fast, the deal includes a green fee, golf cart, warm-up balls and a meal at one of the on-site restaurants.
