Big news on the DC Ranch golf front: PGA player and teacher Craig Hocknull recently joined The Silverleaf Club as Director of Instruction.
Hocknull is one of few who went from PGA teacher to PGA pro (on the Web.com tour). He has demonstrated a unique understanding of what it takes to both play and teach this great sport, and he’s excited to do it at one of the best private golf clubs in Arizona.
“It’s not often you receive this kind of professional opportunity to help members and their guests with their golf games at a spectacular property like Silverleaf,” Hocknull commented in a press release.
Before becoming arguably one of the best golf showmen in the sport with his Outback Golf Trick Shot Show, Hocknull started teaching golf right here in Arizona at the Yuma Golf and Country Club. He has worked as a teacher at a handful of other Arizona golf communities, including Dobson Ranch and Superstition Mountain Gold and Country Club in Mesa. He has active PGA memberships in the United States, Canada and his home country, Australia.
