This is it! The charity golf tournament of the year in support of our local Scottsdale youth! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale will be the recipient of the proceeds from The Sons of Arizona’s 2017 Charity Golf Tournament which will take place at Talking Stick Resort and Golf Club on April 28th.
Sign up as an individual, a foursome or take the leap and sign up to be a sponsor with 12 different types of sponsorships to choose from!
Not golfers but still want to support our Scottsdale youth? Sign up for the dinner and enjoy the raffle items or participate in the silent or live auctions! This year there is a special guest emcee, Lina deFlorias from News Channel 3 to guide you through all the activities and hopefully tip the scales to surpass last year’s record $45K donated to the community from the tournament!
Since April is slated as Junior Golf Month in Arizona, it’s only right to tout the youth in our community that have moved to the top of the leaderboard in what they do best! Golf!
Scottsdale resident, Mason Quagliata, was the only Arizona junior golfer in the field last week to compete in the 2017 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club held during the week of the Masters.
Mason had to qualify locally at The Phoenician Golf Club, then qualify sub-regionally at Grayhawk Golf Club, and then qualify regionally at Riviera Country Club to earn a trip to Augusta and compete as one of 20 finalists from around the country. Mason took home a victory in the 14-15 age group by landing a 270.2 yard drive, a 5’10” putt aggregate, and an 11’1” chip aggregate. Congratulations Mason!
Come out for a fun afternoon of golf and to celebrate in the evening dinner affair—it’s all for the kids!
