We’ve prepped you for Arizona Restaurant Week, a time when you can sip and savor cuisine of all sorts across the Valley for killer deals. Now Scottsdale, the land of destination golf courses and golf vacations, will host Scottsdale Golf Week in December.
Mark your calendars for December 5-11, 2016 for the inaugural Scottsdale Golf Week. Just like Restaurant Week, Golf Week will offer golfers special pricing, discounts, and vacation packages at participating golf resorts. The list of clubs, courses, and resorts are already shaping up to be a who’s who of the Valley’s best in golf.
Kierland Golf Club, Camelback Golf Club, and We-Ko-Pa Golf Club are among the clubs already hammering out the deals. So far, the golf offers range from twosome and foursome specials to percentages off greens fees and freebies like lunch or logo pro shop finds.
The Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa Montelucia, Talking Stick Resort and Spa, and the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North all plan to tout special accommodation and packages to Valley visitors participating in Golf Week. At the Four Seasons guests will get a $100 resort credit with every two paid nights, or golfers staying at the Carefree Resort & Conference Center can load up on energy and nutrition with a complimentary breakfast.
It’s not just the courses and well-known golf resorts cashing in on the travel and activity promotion. Valley steakhouse mainstay The Capital Grille will offer a martini or calamari appetizer on the house if you show your scorecard during Golf Week. Those in Scottsdale golf homes near the McDowell Mountain Golf Club can also take advantage of happy hour all day during Golf Week.
Scottsdale Golf Week is being brought to the greens by Experience Scottsdale Golf, part of the Scottsdale Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. As “the world’s finest golf destination,” Scottsdale Golf Week is a great chance for our spectacular city to really strut its stuff, especially catching travelers at tend or the beginning or their holiday adventures to the Valley. Additional courses, resorts and restaurants are expected to join in during the months leading up to the inaugural event. We’ll update you on the best deals (especially for locals) as we closer.
Now Scottsdale Golf Week would be that much better if you already lived in one of the participating Arizona golf course communities, like Troon North or Kierland. Events like these, plus stellar golf available year round, are just a few of the reasons to own an AZ golf home.
