This Thursday, October 23rd marks the 40th Anniversary of the Old Town Scottsdale Artwalk, a weekly event held Thursday evenings each year from October to April. It’s said to be “Americas Original Artwalk“, often imitated but never quite duplicated!
Special festivities this Thursday include:
- 6:00 pm – Dedication and Festivities on Main Street
- 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – 40th Anniversary ArtWalk
Free food samplings, new art openings, live music and other entertainment will be on tap. The 40th Anniversary event is hosted by Scottsdale’s Gallery Association with the help of the City of Scottsdale.
The Scottsdale Trolley will be running to take you to and from each area of Old Town. Restaurants and shops in addition to the galleries are open and many local residents are expected to turn-out for the special celebration.
This is a long-standing cultural event spotlighting the rich culture and fine artists in the Scottsdale area. It’s another one of the things that makes Scottsdale a great place to live.
