Head the kids over to the Imagine Nation, just north of City Hall where they can dig into some art projects of their own or just enjoy the entertainment presented by the Arizona Coyotes. This year’s theme is I Love Toys! FUN! Let’s Play!
There is a lot more for the little ones – you’ll want to check out the commissioned “interactive” artwork, Shifting Sand, by artist Bobby Zokaites, who has created a playful, large-scale spaces and objects interactive platform.
Fresh air, sunshine and fun crowds can make you hungry. Well, the Maine Lobster Lady will be there to tease your palette, along with more than a dozen other food trucks, lining the periphery of the art show for some culinary delight.
Of course, no festival would be complete without some live music—so enjoy the jazz, blues and other fine music around the 210-acre grounds.
If you can’t make it out, don’t miss the online art auction! You can view all the auctionable items and place your bids through Monday after the festival. You are helping to support a great cause with the proceeds benefitting the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
It all takes place on March 13 – 15, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and, Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.  You’ll find everyone in front of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts at 7380 East Second St. Parking is free and there will be extended trolley service with only a 10-minute wait to whisk you to and from parking and around downtown.
Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students, and FREE for children under age 12, and there are some great deals to be found on Groupon.
So come out for a day of beautiful weather and take something home to add to your art collection!
