Last summer we told you about local Go Daddy business guru Bob Parsons’ plan to build a large private golf course in Scottsdale, with the goal of reaching Golf Digest’s top 100 private golf courses. In preparation for the course and in the effort to attract more of the masses, Parsons has just opened a new high-end golf equipment and PXG retail store near Scottsdale golf homes.

The grand opening of the PXG store was held May 19th and according to Parsons himself, was a true culmination of what he’s professionally achieved so far. A slew of local and professional celebrities were on hand to support the Scottsdale business and the brand. Pro football player Larry Fitzgerald, ESPN commentator Michael Collins, comedian George Lopez, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane and Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton were all in attendance to help support the new endeavor and solidify the brand as “golf equipment like no other.”
Included in the supporters were PGA Tour Champions Ryan Moore and Billy Horschel, two of the 12 PGA and LPGA pros who have signed with Parsons to use his PXG equipment. Zach Johnson, Chris Kirk, Christie Kerr, and Sadena Parks are also among the pros using PXG. The PXG clubs feature a “performance-enhancing precision weight system,” making each golf club look and feel “like no other.”
The PXG retail store in Scottsdale is built more for the standard golfer and consumer than for pros, but the clubs are built by the same builders and with the same functions as those made for the pros. The store is also the world headquarters for PXG and features:
- 35,000 square feet of space
- Retail space, players’ lounge and build shop
- Research and development area
- State-of-the-art golf simulators and putting lab to help with custom golf fitting
The PXG retail store and headquarters is located at 15690 N. 83rd Way in the Scottsdale Airpark area, just south of Frank Lloyd Wright and west of Hayden Road. This puts PXG in a prime location to service golfers from surrounding Arizona golf communities like the TPC, Kierland, DC Ranch and McCormick Ranch.
