NiteFlight golf tournament in Scottsdale supporting children’s charities gears up for its 26th year

NiteFlight golf tournament, one of the longest running charity tournaments in Arizona, is gearing up for their 26th annual event benefiting children’s charities across the Valley. Camelback Golf Club will host the 2015 golf tournament on their challenging and scenic Padre Course. The tournament on Friday, October 9th will continue the unique features for which it’s well-known:

  • Fivesome format with great prizes for the top three teams
  • Modified best ball scramble scoring format
  • Hole-in-one contests with two cars as the prizes
  • Contests for longest drive and closest to the pin
  • Charity caddies

NiteFlight includes more than just golf. Perhaps the highlight of the events is the NiteFlight gala, to be held on Saturday, October 10th. The semi-formal block party of sorts will take over the Old Town Scottsdale Entertainment District and host an estimated 2,500 people. Guests can mingle and network around popular hot spots Hi-Fi Kitchen and Cocktails, Bottled Blonde, The District and LiveWire.
The red carpet gala has earned a reputation in recent years as quite the spectacle and the place to be seen. This year’s gala is slated to include:

  • Las Vegas performers such as contortionists, dancers, impersonators and magicians
  • Celebrity Emcee
  • Cigar and martini lounge
  • Casino gambling
  • Live auctions
  • Specialty bars and bartenders
  • Food, drinks and desserts from top Valley restaurants (included with ticket)

Hosted by the Scottsdale 20-30 Club, these successful charity events have raised millions of dollars for children’s charities over the last 25 years and the club plans to raise the bar in 2015 for their primary charity partner, Playworks. Playworks is a non-profit organization that helps elementary schools create a place on the playground for each and every kid, “a place where everyone belongs.” Additional charities that will benefit from the event proceeds include AZ Burn Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs, Crisis Nursery, Homeward Bound, Junior Achievement and many others.
To get in on the golf tournament action, tickets and packages range from $500-$15,000. If the gala is more your scene, tickets start at $150 and full packages range up to $10,000. Or, if you can’t attend but still want to help make a difference, you can simply donate online.
