Celebrate Independence Day around Arizona golf communities

Independence Day is right around the corner! There are so many festivals to attend and amazing firework shows to see all over the Valley. Find your family’s perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July this year with this go-to guide of commemoration around Arizona golf communities.
4th-of-july
North Valley
For those living in and around Anthem, The Anthem Independence Day Celebration will be held at  the Anthem Community Center (41703 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway). This is a great family-friendly festival with rides for the kids and food vendors to satisfy the whole family’s range of tastes! Music and dancing is also part of the fun, then the celebration closes out with a grand firework finale. Free admission and parking is available for the event, but throughout the month of June you can purchase an “all-you-can-ride/bounce bracelet” for $12 at the community center or for $15 at the event .
On a smaller scale, in one of the smaller towns and Arizona golf communities (but not to be overlooked), Cave Creek hosts two events on July 3rd and July 4th. The Silver Spur Saloon (6245 E. Cave Creek Rd.) has a fun family carnival both nights from 5 – 7:30 pm with a fireworks show starting at dark on Independence Day. To make reservations for patio seating, call 480.488.3317.
The Horny Toad, the oldest original restaurant in Cave Creek, also hosts a big Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 3rd starting at 5:30 pm. With live music, Cave Creek artists, and amazing food, this celebration is the perfect way to have a relaxing 4th of July around your north Phoenix AZ golf home. The restaurant has a giant patio to sit on and enjoy the “Patio Fireworks” show.
East Valley
The Tempe Town Lake Festival is one of the largest Independence Day festivals in the Valley. Starting at 5 pm, it is non-stop fun with live music, an inflatable village for all ages, rides, and a rock climbing wall. The “Fireworks Spectacular” over Tempe Town Lake begins at 9 pm and, just as the name suggests, a full hour of spectacular fireworks light up the night sky!
Just like in Cave Creek, you can start your celebrations early by attending Ahwatukee’s Red, White & Boom! The festivities will be held on July 3rd beginning at 3 pm. Live music provided by Radio Disney, hot dog eating contests, and singing competitions are only the beginning of the fun this festival has to offer. General admission is free, however tickets are available for the Hospitality Tent. For $25, the Hospitality Tent offers a meal and a cool, misted patio to watch the fireworks from.
Another unique and excellent celebration is the Scottsdale Independence Day Celebration hosted at WestWorld. It’s the perfect way to stay cool during this year’s 4th of July because it is held indoors! There’s live music, food vendors for the whole family, a kid zone and so much more! For those golf enthusiasts, WestWorld is surrounded by Scottsdale golf homes and the Scottsdale Country Club. Fireworks go off at 9 pm!
Central and West Valley
If you’re looking for the largest firework display near Arizona golf communities, look no further than the Fabulous Phoenix 4th celebration! This celebration is free and a non-alcoholic, family-friendly zone. Two stages will feature local musicians while local food vendors bring a variety of options! The Kids World will have activities, rides, inflatables, and a water spray zone. Enjoy the largest firework show at 9:30 pm!
Peoria’s All-American Festival will be held in the Peoria Sports Complex with live entertainment, a kids zone, food eating contests, a cornhole tournament, and more. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 on the day of the event. Fireworks will begin around 9:15 pm.
