There are several dog parks in Scottsdale, and some have more amenities than others do. Check out this list to find the perfect place for your pup to play:

Chaparral Dog Park

5401 North Hayden Road
The Chaparral Dog Park is a large green space where your four-legged family member can play in the sun or shade. There are 3 acres of grass, dog water fountains and lots of play features, and the park has plenty of benches for pup-parents to relax. It’s divided into two spaces – one for active dogs and one for passive dogs.

Horizon Dog Park

15444 North 100th Street
The Horizon Dog Park is a small, intimate park with a large shade structure, a doggie water fountain and even a water feature. The park closes if there’s been significant rainfall in the area (it’s prone to flooding), but it’s a great place to stop in for a quick play date.

1700 North Granite Reef Road
Vista del Camino Dog Park is a half-acre filled with shade trees, and there are several benches for humans to relax on. You’ll find water fountains and lots of room for pups to play – just know that you should park off Pierce Street, north of McKellips Road.

George “Doc” Cavalliere Park

27775 North Alma School Parkway
Though not specifically a dog park, there are spectacular walking trails to enjoy with your well-behaved, leashed dog in George “Doc” Cavalliere Park. Even better, the park is open from sunrise to 10:30 p.m., which means you can take your dog for a nice stroll when you’re both ready. The walking trail is a one-mile loop, which means you and your pup can get plenty of steps in while you’re visiting.
