The Boulders Resort & Golf Club

The Boulders Club is both a resort and a golf club. There are two courses, The North Course and The South Course, both designed by Jay Morrish, and are considered quite demanding. The practice facilities are top-notch and the scenery is beautiful, with rugged boulder outcroppings everywhere you look.
The Camelback Golf Club

Camelback is a resort course offering two 18-hole tracts, The Padre and The Indian Bend, both seated near the base of Camelback Mountain.  The views are incredible on this lush, traditional golf course.

 
Continental Golf Club

Continental is an executive, par 60 short course, a few blocks from Old Town Scottsdale.  It’s a real deal in terms of price, proximity and challenge.

Desert Canyon Golf Club

Near the center of Fountain Hills, Desert Canyon is a par-71 course with views abounding.  It is 6,823 yards from the back tees.
Hyatt Regency – Gainey Ranch Golf Club

Gainey Ranch Golf Club provides extraordinary views of the McDowell Mountains, Camelback and the desert landscape. Three championship nine-hole courses – The Lakes, The Dunes and The Arroyo – each offer a distinctly different golf experience.

The Grayhawk Golf Club offers 2 championship courses:

• The Talon Course, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, is a 7000-yard, par-72 layout with dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains.
• The Raptor course, designed by Tom Fazio, is a 7108-yard, par-72 course that presents an exceptional challenge.

Kierland Golf Club

Kierland Golf Club, located next to the Kierland shopping complex, is managed by Troon Golf.  It has three 9-hole courses designed by Scott Miller: Acacia, Ironwood & Mesquite.  The facility offers lessons with PGA and LPGA professionals, as well as fitness training.
Legend Trail Golf Club

McCormick Ranch offers two 18-hole golf courses: the Pine Course and the Palm Course.  They are aptly named for the types of trees predominantly found on each course. Both courses are parkland-style courses with lush landscaping, mature trees, water features and gorgeous views of Camelback Mountain.
The Palm Course has ten water holes and rows of large palm trees. The Pine Course has mature pine trees and is a bit narrower. Both courses were designed by renowned golf course architect Desmond Muirhead and opened in 1972.  The courses have slopes ranging from 117 to 137 offering players a variety of challenges.
The very popular Palm and Pine courses have recently been renovated with outstanding new greens, sand traps and bridges.
McDowell Mountain Golf Club

McDowell Mountain Ranch Golf Club became one of the premier daily fee golf courses in the Valley when Phil Mickleson and his team purchased the facility and undertook a massive course renovation in 2011. Course architectural changes were overseen by the original golf course architect, Randy Heckenkemper, and Phil Mickelson.
The course has challenge for every level of golfer on your choice of 4 tees, with slopes ranging from 109 to 137 and yardage ranging from 4,880 to 7,072. The course is walker-friendly.
Mountain Shadows Golf Club

Mountain Shadows is also near Old Town Scottsdale at the base of Cambelback Mountain.  It is considered one of the most scenic executive courses in the state.  It is a par-56 3,081 yard tract and is lined with palm trees.
Orange Tree Golf Resort

The Orange Tree Resort gets its name from its rich history; it was formerly an orange grove.  This 18-hole course is Parkland style, much like you would see in the midwest with tree-lined fairways and a park-like setting; very different from the desert courses nearby.
Pavilion Lakes Golf Club

Pavilion Lakes is a public parkland-style 18-hole golf course measuring just over 6,500 yards from the back tees.  The course rating is 70.1.  It is also located near the Old Town Scottsdale area and is close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
The Phoenician Golf Resort

The Phoenician is one of the oldest and most prestigious resorts in the Phoenix metropolitan area.  It’s located near Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Fashion Square. The golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and Jack Snyder and opened in 1981.  It is 6,258 years from the tips with a slope of 30.  The views on the course are pristine and the course itself is always immaculate.

Rancho Mañana Golf Resort

Rancho Mañana Golf Club is a par-70, championship course with dramatic elevation changes.  The course has 3 sets of tees and yardages range from 4,464 to 6,016 from the back tees. The slopes range from 112 to 134.
The Club’s amenities include an 18-hole, championship golf course, a full length driving range, practice chipping and putting greens, fully stocked golf shop, locker rooms and a full service restaurant, Tonto’s Bar & Grill.
Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club

Scottsdale Silverado is a par-70 18-hole course near the center of Old Town.  It’s a challenging golf round amidst a more traditional golf setting.

SunRidge Canyon

The daily fee SunRidge Canyon golf course takes advantage of the terrain and uses it to create a challenging, unique course. Featuring a Keith Foster design, the course is a 6,823-yard par 71 and the slope from the back tee is 142. Despite a tough slope from the back tee, 3 other tees provide a level of challenge for every kind of player.
SunRidge Canyon was listed on Golf Magazine’s list of “Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play in the U.S.”, and in 2012, it was named one of “Golfweek’s Best.”  The Wicked 6 Bar and Grill is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Talking Stick Golf Club

Talking Stick has two challenging courses in the heart of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.  The courses were designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and offer two very different golf experiences for golfers of every playing level.  With the surrounding resort, you’re sure to find an adventure suited for everyone in your family.

Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale has two 18-hole courses: the famous and recently renovated Stadium Course and the Champions’ Course both set against the beautiful McDowell Mountains. They are uniquely different golfing alternatives.
Home of the PGA Tour’s fan-favorite, Waste Management Phoenix Open, The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale has hosted some of golf’s greatest moments since its opening in 1986. The design team of Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf created a great blend of challenge and playability here. The Waste Management Phoenix Open has become the largest spectator golf event in the world.
The shorter Champions’ Course is a desert course and a gem of a municipal layout.   Golfers can walk or ride.
Tonto Verde Golf Club

Tonto Verde Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, The Peaks Course and Ranch Course.
The Peaks Course gets its name from Four Peaks Mountain, which lies directly to the east.  The Ranch Course name came from the Box Bar Ranch, a working ranch that has been integral to the area since the early 1900s.
Troon North Golf Club

Verde River Golf & Social Club, formerly Tegavah Golf Club, is a desert style course where some of the vegetation has been removed to allow golfers the ability to play almost any lie.  Many of the green fronts are false and require an extra club (hint).  The greens are large and undulated.
