Residents in SunRidge Canyon and Arizona golf communities around Fountain Hills have a new go-to restaurant to add to their rotation. Flourish just opened in the revamped CopperWynd Resort and promises farm-fresh, healthy fare with an ethnic twist. Their motto is “food is essential to life, therefore make it good.”
Flourish is brought to us by the same group responsible for the Enchantment Resort and Mii Amo Spa in Sedona, both of which boast rave reviews and similarly stunning desert views. Nestled in the CopperWynd Resort and surrounded with 180-degree views of the scenic McDowell Mountains and Four Peaks, the restaurant and lounge serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The stylish ambiance is sure to grab the attention of many diners. Artful interiors lead to breathtaking exteriors through floor-to-ceiling glass panel sliding doors. An outdoor wine bar, fireplace, and private dining room add flexible options to the dining experience.
More than just a place to grab a meal, Flourish is looking to become a classy community hangout by hosting “happenings” like their recent James Bond-themed New Year’s Eve party, and bringing in talented local musicians every Wednesday.
But what about the food? Flourish takes its cue from the seasons and local vendors, keeping its menu fluid to offer fresh and local ingredients. Taste Southwestern favorite Chilaquiles for breakfast, or indulge in a dry aged porterhouse for two at dinner. The menu includes something for everyone, including light and healthy fare, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and gluten free options.
The beverage service is also quite impressive, with organic wines, craft beers, artisan spirits, signature cocktails, and even cold-pressed juices. The lux lounge and tranquil terrace may be the new hot spots for Fountain Hills happy hour.
Although it’s only been open for a few months, Flourish has already been named a Diners’ Choice winner for 2015 from online reservation giant OpenTable, including best ambiance, most romantic and best scenic view. See for yourself and stop in.
Residents in SunRidge Canyon are only a few minutes away, yet another benefit of living in one of the nearby Arizona golf home communities.
