If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend a Disney on Ice show, this is a chance to find out what all the hype is about, and boy is it going to be a good one! It’s also a great time to come in out of the heat here in the Scottsdale area, if you’ve been spending a lot of time at the pool lately.
Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy
Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy this April at the US Airways Center in Phoenix. The show is choreographed for kids, but you can bet there won’t be a single adult in the house not impressed with the skating and singing of this talented pool of individuals as they take on the characters of four oldies but goodies stories–Disney*Pixar’s “Car”, “Little Mermaid”, “Pixie Hollow” with Tinker Bell, and the gang from “Toy Story”.
A Disney on Ice show is always a condensed version of the story line, but the kids know the entire story and don’t seem to mind one bit that it’s not identical to the original story. Most of the adults don’t even realize it’s not the whole story and get caught up in singing along with their kids and their favorite songs. Probably the only slight advantage the parent has over their kids in this outing? They can recognize the skaters actually are lip-syncing, but shhhh don’t tell the kids, you wouldn’t want to spoil the fun.
