Sectional qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Open kicks off in May and The Country Club at DC Ranch is first on the schedule of 25 locations! The private club and redesigned Tom Lehman and John Fought golf course is located in North Scottsdale at the base of the beautiful McDowell Mountains and is surrounded by high-end luxury real estate. This course is absolutely one of the most beautiful golf venues in the country!
In addition to the 21 U.S. locations, golfers will have the opportunity to qualify in England, the Republic of Korea, People’s Republic of China and Japan.
Think you might have what it takes? Fill out the application before May 17th and show up at one of the qualifying sites between May 22nd and June 12th and play like you’ve never played before! You could land a spot in the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open Championship, July 10 through July 16th at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Things you should know before you pay the $200 entry fee:
- The Handicap Index Limit is 2.4
- There is no age restrictions, however, minors must have a parent or legal guardian register them and both parties must comply with the anti-doping policy
- The Scottsdale, Arizona site is closed to applicants
Yes, the 78 slots at The Country Club at DC Ranch have already filled but not to worry because there are other sites still available.
