The project, called Aerium, is a 27-unit condominium complex at the intersection of 70th St. and Sixth St.  The site plan was approved by the Scottsdale Development Review Board on July 17th.
The complex will have five 3-story buildings with ground-level garages.  The community center will have a lap pool, herb garden and outdoor cooking for residents’ use.  The plan includes 19,200 square feet of open space.
Landmark owns the property and it has been vacant since 2005.  They plan on investing $12m in bringing Aerium to life.  The company expects residents will be both year-round and seasonal and estimates there will be 30-60 people living in the community.
Aerium’s sales office is scheduled to open in September and construction begins in October.
Landmark has 3 more developments already on the drawing board for Scottsdale.  Their plan is to build homes and communities here in the United States with the same quality and attention to detail that the company is known for in Canada.
