Ballet Arizona’s The Nutcracker: December 12th to 28th at Symphony Hall

Everyone loves a story, and this season’s highly anticipated Ballet Arizona’s The Nutcracker has one!
Arianni Martin’s role as the Sugar Plum Fairy should draw record crowds when she again takes the stage to mesmerize and make memorable the Holiday season performance of The Nutcracker.

Her story is an inspirational one. The story line is of a Cuban dancer with a dream of crossing the border to land a principal role in a dancing troupe. And beyond her wildest dreams, Arianni did just that! While on an international tour with the National Ballet of Cuba, she managed to land a space in a dancing troupe that she now calls home, Ballet Arizona.
Last season she was the lead in Cinderella, which earned her the coveted “dancers to watch” title.   And this 23-year-old ballerina has perfected her style to land a principal role in this year’s The Nutcracker and a leading role in Swan Lake.
The beauty and athleticism of all the dancers contribute to the magic of The Nutcracker, with more than 150 performers, hundreds of costumes and the infamous Tchaikovsky’s featured score making it the perfect treat for the entire family.
The Nutcracker runs from December 12th through the 28th at Symphony Hall (75 N. 2nd St., Phoenix, AZ 85004) and tickets are now on sale.
