Jersey Boys won the 2006 Tony Award for best Musical and just recently won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2009. The story is so wildly liked, a movie adaptation was just recently made as well.
The brilliantly creative minds that bring the magic of The Four Seasons’ story and music to the stage comprises two-time Tony Award winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio, lyricist Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
Jersey Boys recreates the journey of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi in their journey of becoming one of the greatest successes in pop music history.
Due to some scenes containing inappropriate content such as smoke, gun shots, strobe lights, drug references, sexual situations and profane “authentic Jersey language,” Jersey Boys is not recommended for young children and people who will be bothered by flashing lights.
