Come and relax in one of Scottsdale’s World Class Spa’s

With Scottsdale’s reputation as one of the world’s finest golf destinations, it is not surprising to find that same class of service and design with its spas.  World-class golf courses and world-class spas go hand-in-hand and that’s exactly what you will find in North Scottsdale and its surrounding areas.  There are a number of resorts with this pairing and we want to share our top two picks, the Boulders Resort and Spa in Carefree and the Four Seasons Resort at Troon North.  These luxurious hideaways combine world-class service, first-class amenities, and elegant accommodations in a Southwestern flair.

A morning of 18 holes followed by a relaxing massage is the first item on a visitor’s to-do list when they arrive in town and these two destinations provide extraordinary experiences!
The spa at The Boulders sits at the base of a 1.5 billion year old outcropping that named the resort. Their spa is a 33,000 square foot campus with a unique facility that features 20+ treatment rooms, a learning center and a spa café.  A themed Zen-experience encompassing Ayurvedic principles and treatments showcase healing traditions from around the world.  Each visitor is greeted at the door and the Zen experience is carried throughout the shamanic tipi, meditation labyrinth, pool, whirlpool, organic garden and reflecting koi pond.  Guests will even experience a piece of our desert with locally sourced clay used in a one of the body treatments in the spa.
The Boulder’s golf courses are Jay Morrish designed that wind through natural desert terrain and huge boulder formations and granite out-croppings found nowhere else in the world.  Along with the full-service pro shops, golfers will have hands on access to experienced PGA and LPGA instructors.  The North Course overview: par-72, 6,811 yards, a 137 slope and is labeled as one of the most demanding courses in the Southwest. The South Course overview: par-71, 6,726 yards, a 140 slope.
The Four Season’s spa features signature treatments and body therapies to include modalities and products found only in the Southwest.  Indigenous jojoba and prickly pear plants from our desert provide the healing elements and properties found in one of their signature treatments.   An avid golfer will opt for the golfers’ massage before tee time to loosen up the joints or after to ease shoulder and neck stiffness after a grueling 36-holes.  This unique massage was designed specifically for The Four Season’s spa and uses warmed golf balls and a special stretching technique to revive the golfer after a day in the sun.
The resort’s golf features two Tom Weiskopf designed courses and a Callaway Golf Performance Center with a ball-flight simulator that will help take you to the next level in your game.  On site there are fitting specialists and pros to evaluate your swing and provide one-on-one instruction.  The Pinnacle Course overview: par-71, 7,009 yards, 149 slope with a rating of 73.0.  The Monument Course overview: par-72, 7,039 yards, 147 slope with a 72.9.
Whether you elect to book at The Boulders Resort and Spa or the Four Seasons at Troon your senses and physical acumen will be indulged beyond compare!
