Summer Golf Camps are in Full Swing

Summer is just around the corner and that means golf summer camps!  Junior golf camps can be a great way to enrich your kid’s summer.
Summer camps are about much more than enhancing your youngster’s golf game.  They are a rich and rewarding way to spend some of their precious summer vacation and a great way to meet new friends!  We’ve done the research for you, so all you have to do is click and sign up. You’ll want to act fast to save your spot because some of these golf programs fill up fast!

Our first pick is a PGA Junior Golf Camp that offers top golf facilities and small group instruction.  They include week-long full and half day instruction and for the more serious junior golfer, a PGA Competitive Edge Overnight Camp.
Going on vacation and you have a serious golfer in the house?  No worries, you can work it in the family’s busy vacation schedule because the PGA Junior Golf Camps have locations all over the country.  Arizona has two locations, Legacy Golf Performance Center Tour Striker Golf Academy at Raven Golf Club, in Phoenix and Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale.  To find a location, camp dates and to register, click here.
Our second pick is a local camp, designed for all levels of golfers in the teen and pre-teen category.  Located in Tempe, the ASU’s Sun Devil Golf Camps offer PGA/LPGA worthy coaching and includes both the options of overnight and day golf programs.
The day golf program runs June 22 and 23rd with a start time of 7:30 a.m.  Camp ends at 11:30 a.m. just in time to miss the afternoon heat!  Boy and girls ages 8 through 14 and all abilities are welcome and can sign up here.
If you have a golfer between the ages of 12 and 18, the overnight golf camp is the bomb and even includes some sweet yellow and burgundy swag!   Junior golfers will get to experience living the dorm life with a 3-night campus stay that includes dorm meals, coaching by the ASU golf staff, and heading home afterwards with an Arizona State Ping golf bag, T-Shirt, Golf Balls, and ASU Hat.  The bonus?  An awesome awards banquet! Camp is scheduled for June 18th through the 21st and you can register here.
Last but not least are three local summer golf camp options!  They were selected based on their flexible dates, stellar resort and golf facilities and coaching staff.
You’ll want to check out the Westin Kierland Golf Club and Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, and Phoenix’s Foothills Golf Club for a camp for your junior golfer.
The Westin Kierland offers 3 and 4 day golf camp programs from May 30th through  August 3rd and pool time is just part of the play!  Click here for your options.
Gainey Ranch offers four day golf camps and the schedule includes June 12-15, June 19-22, July 10-13.  The student to instructor ratio is 6:1 and junior golfers get course play after their morning instruction. Each camper will leave with an amazing swag bag!  Register here.
Driving a little further to drop off the kiddos will give you some really sweet golf summer camp options. Summer camps at Foothills Golf Club run May 24th through August 3rd and you can pick from 2, 3 and four day golf camps.  Class sizes are small and they have a sibling discount and multi-week plan.  Register here.
